The North Face, founded in 1966 by two hiking enthusiasts takes it’s name from the cold side of a mountain.Beginning as a small mountaineering retail store, it soon grew and the company began to design and manufacture their own technical mountaineering apparel. During the 1960’s, The North Face also sponsored expeditions to some of the most far flung corners of the globe; developing their mantra: Never Stop Exploring. To this day, the company continue to grow their product range, and push the boundaries of innovation; all so their customers can continue to explore the world in front of them.
