Barbour, originally known as J Barbour and Sons, began back in 1894; at the market place in South Shields.Today, it is a 5th generation family owned business; still located in South Shields. (Staying true to their north-eastern roots!) The company themselves source and sell products almost globally, but continue to remain true to its core values. Espousing the values of the British countryside; bringing the qualities of wit, grit and glamour to their functional clothing.
